Free Legal Advice and Referral Services
The Legal Advice and Referral Center provides free legal services to low-income residents in the areas of family law, benefits and welfare, and housing. Services include legal advice by phone, referrals to other free legal assistance programs, and self-help resources.
Free Legal Assistance

Lawyer Referral
The New Hampshire Bar Association offers a lawyer referral service by telephone, online request form, or email. An initial consultation with a lawyer may be arranged for a nominal fee, or for free.
Low-Cost Limited Legal Representation
Community Legal Services offers low-cost "unbundled" legal services in which lawyers provide some services to self-represented parties for a smaller fee than full representation. Services may include advice about the case, document preparation, coaching, court appearances for difficult parts of the case, and other tasks as agreed.
