Suffolk County Victim and Witness Help
The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office Victim and Witness Assistance Program provides crime victims and witnesses with information about victims' rights and the court process, crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, court accompaniment, case status notification, and assistance with restraining orders, restitution, witness fees, victim's compensation, return of property, and victim impact statements. Links to forms, guides, brochures, and special services for homicide survivors and victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder and disabled abuse, hate crimes, and identity theft. Limited Assistance Representation
View information about limited assistance representation, in which lawyers provide some services to self-represented parties for a smaller fee than full representation.
